How to use RankIt.
What is RankIt?
A place to make a ranked list for anything — coffee shops, movies, gadgets. Create it, share the link, let people vote 1–5.
How do I create one?
Tap + submit → pick a category → give it a title → add 2–3 things to rate (like Taste, Price) → Publish. You’ll be sent to your new page.
How do people vote?
They open your ranking, tap stars for Overall and for each thing you added, optionally write a few words, then Post. One review per person per ranking.
Can I change my review?
Yes. Open the same ranking — your review sits at the top. Edit or delete anytime. The ranking updates right away.
How is the order decided?
By average stars, but new items don’t jump to #1 with a single 5★. They need a few good votes to climb — so the top actually means something.
Do I need an account?
Yes, to create or review. Tap join / log in and sign in with Auth0. That’s the only way in.
What can I rank?
Anything with a clear theme. “Best ramen in Tokyo” works great. “Best stuff” is too vague — people won’t know what to compare.
Something broke?
If sign-in says “Callback URL mismatch”, make sure you’re on rankit-6em.pages.dev. If a category is missing, it’ll appear after the next deploy — or create a ranking in an existing one for now.
